Volleyball Recap: Edna Karr Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Edna Karr took on Belle Chasse on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-11.

Edna Karr's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10. As for Belle Chasse, their win bumped their record up to 19-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edna Karr will face off against rival Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Belle Chasse is set to challenge their familiar foe Academy of Our Lady at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
