Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Coeur d'Alene walked away with it. They blew past the Lake City Timberwolves 5-0 on Saturday. Considering Coeur d'Alene have won six matchups by more than three goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Lake City with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brett Johnson (2), Jacob Shaporda, Blake Wise, and Mason Taylor.

Coeur d'Alene's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six contests. As for Lake City, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-6-1.

Coeur d'Alene will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Timberwolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
