Softball Recap: Kettle Run Takes a Loss

Kettle Run lost against Sherando back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kettle Run fell just short of Sherando by a score of 5-4. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leah Trible made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Kettle Run's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Sherando, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kettle Run will take on rival Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Sherando is set to square off against their familiar foe Handley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
