Volleyball Recap: New Holstein Huskies vs. Oostburg Flying Dutchmen

New Holstein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Riley Danes paced New Holstein's offense, picking up six kills. Danes were helped by Makayla Meyer and Addison Haensgen, who contributed six assists each. Mady Sippel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

New Holstein's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Oostburg, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-10.
