Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Idaho City). They strolled past the Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 54-36. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Gem State Adventist Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Miler, who posted 14 points. Ashton Decker was another key player, putting up eight points.

Idaho City's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Gem State Adventist Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
