North Creek and Bothell are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Jaguars are taking a road trip to face off against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. North Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
North Creek's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Mount Si. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.
Reagan Fleming was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Fleming was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bothell took on Mount Si on Saturday. The Cougars came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 12-7.
Addison Hall spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bothell let Johna Bellecourt and Hadley Smith run wild. Bellecourt got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Smith went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Kirsten Mahlen also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
North Creek's record now sits at 6-4. As for Bothell, their record is now 10-1.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. North Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .338. However, it's not like Bothell struggles in that department as they've averaged .355. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
North Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Bothell in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-2. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
