Soccer Recap: Manatee Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manatee can now relate to. They came up short against the Lennard Longhorns on Wednesday, falling 5-0. The Hurricanes just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Manatee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Lennard, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Manatee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lennard, they will square off against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Lennard sitting on six straight wins and Lakewood Ranch on three.
