Volleyball Game Preview: Rushford-Peterson Trojans vs. Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs

The Rushford-Peterson Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rushford-Peterson will be strutting in after a win while Plainview-Elgin-Millville will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Rushford-Peterson was able to grind out a solid victory over Houston, taking the game 3-1. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

In the three sets Rushford-Peterson was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-10, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Plainview-Elgin-Millville came up short against Wabasha-Kellogg on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-16.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Rushford-Peterson, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Everything went Rushford-Peterson's way against Plainview-Elgin-Millville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Rushford-Peterson made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
