Basketball Recap: Okoboji Comes Up Short

Okoboji lost against Central Lyon back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Okoboji Pioneers were dealt a 74-25 defeat at the hands of the Central Lyon Lions. The match marked the Pioneers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Okoboji has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for Central Lyon, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Okoboji didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-42 loss against Unity Christian on the 15th. As for Central Lyon, they will head out to square off against Emmetsburg on Tuesday. One thing working in Central Lyon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
