Basketball Recap: Early Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 17-17 at halftime, Early was not quite Dublin's equal in the second half on Saturday. They came up short against the Dublin Lions, falling 72-52. The Longhorns were up 52-37 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Early has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Dublin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Early will welcome Millsap at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Early is facing Millsap at the right time seeing as Millsap is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Dublin, they will be playing at home against Tolar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
