Volleyball Game Preview: Ben Lomond Scots vs. Layton Christian Academy Eagles

The Ben Lomond Scots will face off against the Layton Christian Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Layton Christian Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Ben Lomond, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Ben Lomond turned things around against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1.

While Ben Lomond might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Utah Military Academy - Hill Field scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Layton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Morgan.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-18.

Ben Lomond's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-9. As for Layton Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
