Volleyball Recap: Beecher Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Beecher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Atherton Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Beecher was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Atherton's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-15.

Beecher's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Atherton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Beecher will challenge Lakeville at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Atherton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Renaissance at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
