Hardin owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Warren Warriors by a score of 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Not much got past Olivia Dryden, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep Warren off the board.

At the plate, Jaydin Brown and Kaitlyn Key did most of the damage at the plate: Brown scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3, while Key went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Hardin's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-7-1. As for Warren, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Hardin will host Kirbyville at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Kirbyville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Hardin's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Warren, they are taking a road trip to face off against Buna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
