Tyler HEAT had won four straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 4-0 to make it five. They blew past the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for Tyler HEAT, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Anaya Peel paced Tyler HEAT's offense, picking up 17 kills. Peel got some help from Gracie Tucker and her 23 assists. Tucker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lexi Fuller, racking up three apiece.

As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 9, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why East Texas Homeschool Sports lost, don't look at Katie Walton. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and eight kills. Walton is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was London Reitinger, who had six digs and five assists.

Tyler HEAT wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Grace Community on the 15th. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they will head out to challenge Bishop Gorman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
