Decatur's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past the West Morgan Rebels 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Decatur who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 15-5.

Emma-Glenn Roby paced Decatur's offense, picking up 14 kills. Roby got some help from Sarah Roberts and her 18 assists. Roberts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-11. As for West Morgan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Decatur has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lauderdale County on the 4th. As for West Morgan, they will take on Loretto at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
