Basketball Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Piles Up the Points Against Le Grand

Stone Ridge Christian hadn't done well against Le Grand recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Stone Ridge Christian Knights breezed by the Le Grand Bulldogs to the tune of 84-21. That looming 84-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stone Ridge Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daijon ONeil, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 11 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. ONeil has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Sahota, who posted 14 points and five rebounds.

Stone Ridge Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Stone Ridge Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 31.4% in those games and 19.3% outside of them.
