Softball Recap: Wolcott Eagles vs. Seymour Wildcats
If Wolcott was riding high fresh off their 13-0 takedown of Wilby last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Seymour Wildcats on Friday, falling 10-4. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Lilly Spina made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Jaelyn Belval was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
