Basketball Game Preview: South Lake Eagles vs. Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs

The South Lake Eagles will face off against the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Last Friday, it was close, but South Lake sidestepped Hope Academy for a 37-34 victory.

South Lake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jazmyn Robles out in front who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Ella Cochran, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, Mount Dora Christian Academy hadn't done well against Eustis recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Mount Dora Christian Academy skirted past Eustis 37-35. The 37-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

South Lake pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
