Basketball Recap: Piscataway Comes Up Short on the Road Against Colonia

Piscataway had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took an 80-61 bruising from the Colonia Patriots. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Colonia's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piscataway won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marion P. Thomas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colonia, they will be home for the holidays to greet Woodbridge at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
