After a string of six wins, Dysart's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Cactus Cobras by a score of 2-1. The Demons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Ryan Shetterly paced Dysart's offense, picking up 11 kills. Shetterly got some help from Jorge Serna and his 18 assists.

Dysart's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Cactus, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Dysart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Dobson on the 29th. As for Cactus, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Gilbert on the 29th.
