Adelynn Miller Sets Career High in Strikeouts
The Classical Academy was led to victory by Adelynn Miller, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Monday. Miller struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk), good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts in the process. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
Miller and The Classical Academy will head out to square off against Sand Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller has dominated as far as walks are concerned (she's averaged 0.5 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Scorpions have only allowed 3.71 per game this season.
