Basketball Recap: Great Bridge Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hickory, Great Bridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 54-44 win over the Franklin Broncos.

Great Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Franklin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Great Bridge will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Currituck County at 3:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Franklin, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Nandua at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Broncos will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
