Basketball Recap: Luling Comes Up Short

Luling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stockdale Brahmas. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-41 on January 7th.

Luling's loss dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Stockdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Luling has already played their next match, a 55-30 defeat against Karnes City on the 28th. As for Stockdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-48 loss against Nixon-Smiley on the 28th.
