Volleyball Recap: Bishop Hartley Takes a Loss

After flying high against West on Monday, Bishop Hartley came back down to earth. The Hawks fell just short of the Hayes Pacers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Pacers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Bishop Hartley started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20, 15-11.

Bishop Hartley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Hayes, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

Coming up, Bishop Hartley is taking a road trip to challenge Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hayes, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Whetstone on the 1st.
