In what's become a running theme this season, Foundation Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Trinity Christian Academy 58-30 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Foundation Academy has posted since December 15, 2023.
Foundation Academy found their leader in underclassman Ava Chmielinski, who scored 25 points along with six steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chmielinski has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lily Holloman, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Tohopekaliga was able to grind out a solid victory over Four Corners on Thursday, taking the game 52-43. Given Tohopekaliga's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Four Corners is ranked 422nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Foundation Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Tohopekaliga, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.
