Basketball Recap: Washington School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Washington School for the Deaf was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison, falling 57-22. The Terriers lost against the Bison in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 46-45 score last time.

Washington School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Washington School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 39-23 loss against Rhode Island School for the Deaf on the 18th. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-31 victory against Arkansas School for the Deaf on the 18th.
