Basketball Recap: Pensacola Comes Up Short

Pensacola lost against Booker T. Washington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pensacola Tigers received a blow as they fell 53-38 to the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Pensacola lost, don't look at AG Floyd. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khylen Eccles, who posted five points.

Even though they lost, Pensacola smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Pensacola's record now sits at 5-14. As for Booker T. Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Pensacola is taking a road trip to square off against Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
