Basketball Game Preview: Bracken Christian Warriors vs. Hill Country Christian Rams

Bracken Christian and Hill Country Christian are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Bracken Christian Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Hill Country Christian Rams at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Bracken Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Bracken Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Keystone 74-43. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Hill Country Christian kicked off their season on the road last Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Sacred Heart and fell 94-23. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Bracken Christian pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Hill Country Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Bracken Christian beat Hill Country Christian 57-45 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Bracken Christian repeat their success, or does Hill Country Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
