Basketball Recap: Eleva-Strum Takes a Loss

Eleva-Strum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates and fell 91-37. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 476th, while the Pirates are ranked 42nd).

Eleva-Strum's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Eleva-Strum will be playing at home against Mondovi at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Cochrane-Fountain City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
