Adams County Christian dropped their record down to 12-9 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Amite School Center. Adams County Christian was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Amite School Center earlier this season, when they won 7-0.

Adams County Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Aplin, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

As for Amite School Center, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games.

On Amite School Center's side, the team relied heavily on Brennan Knight, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kullen Melton, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

As of now, neither Adams County Christian nor Amite School Center have any future games scheduled.
