Football Recap: West Wolfpack vs. St. Mary's Rams
West fell victim to St. Mary and their airtight defense on Monday. They were dealt a 38-0 loss at the hands of the St. Mary's Rams. The Wolfpack just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.
St. Mary's had a senior duo take command as Raia Brown picked up 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns and Victory Bragg threw for 322 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes. Brown showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.
West's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for St. Mary's, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.
West will head out on the road to face off against Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Mary's, they will face off against Tracy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Mary's will stroll in with a six game home winning streak (dating back to last season), but they should still watch out: the last time they lost at home was their the 12th matchup with Tracy.
