Basketball Game Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. Suncoast Chargers

Jupiter is 2-8 against Suncoast since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Jupiter Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Suncoast Chargers at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Jupiter didn't have quite enough to beat Dwyer and fell 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Panthers since January 10, 2020.

Meanwhile, Suncoast beat Matanzas 49-37 on Saturday. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Pirates are ranked 337th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jupiter's defeat ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-2. As for Suncoast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Jupiter came up short against Suncoast in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 50-43. Can Jupiter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
