Volleyball Recap: Mt. Hope Falls Short of Barrington in the Playoffs

Mt. Hope and Barrington squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mt. Hope had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Lilly Floriani went supernova For Barrington., getting 23 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave Floriani a new career-high.

Mt. Hope's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Barrington, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Mt. Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barrington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Westerly on the 8th.
