Arlington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Yonkers Bulldogs a 19-0 shutout on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Admirals as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Chase Harris was the offensive standout of the contest as she rushed for 78 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Jamie Gemmel made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Arlington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gemmel and Katherine D'Angelo. Gemmel got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Arlington's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Yonkers, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-1.

Coming up, Arlington will venture away from home to take on New Rochelle at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Admirals 10.9, the Huguenots 10.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Yonkers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
