Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Academy Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rocky Mount Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-12.

McKenna Rogers paced Rocky Mount Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rogers got some help from Landry Miller and her 19 assists. Charlotte Burns controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rocky Mount Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rocky Mount Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Liberty Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Harrells Christian Academy will face off against rival Faith Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
