Baseball Recap: South Pittsburg Comes Up Short

The South Pittsburg Pirates came up short against the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles on Friday and fell 8-3.

South Pittsburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jace Stone, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

South Pittsburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

South Pittsburg has already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Huntland on the 4th. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they will square off against Sale Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
