Soccer Recap: North Forsyth Comes Up Short

North Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the West Forsyth Wolverines. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in February of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for West Forsyth, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forsyth will square off against Pinecrest Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Forsyth has given up an average of 2.9 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for West Forsyth, they will take on Lakeside at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Forsyth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
