Softball Recap: Hanover Hawks vs. Woodgrove Wolverines

Hanover and Woodgrove squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hanover had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Woodgrove Wolverines by a score of 4-3.

Lillian Parrish put in work no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Parrish has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. Parrish was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
