Softball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier was the 5-2 winner over Shenandoah when they last played one another back in March of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 8-5 to the Zeps on Wednesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evelyn Armstrong and Addison Edgar stepped up to the plate in a big way. Armstrong went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Edgar went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Kate Congleton was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Shenandoah, their record is now 6-13.

Shenandoah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Coshocton on the 25th. Hopefully Frontier paid attention to the Zeps' matchup: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Zeps at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
