North has gone 9-1 against Mayfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The North Rangers will look to defend their home court against the Mayfield Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing South: they outscored them in every quarter. North walked away with a 35-23 win over South on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Meanwhile, Mayfield waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Bombers with a 51-46 victory. 51 seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Mayfield's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for North, they have also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

North didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Mayfield when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 48-44 win. Will North repeat their success, or does Mayfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
