A big congratulations to Hunter Newman, who topped the rushing century mark for the first time in his career on Friday. He rushed for 114 yards and one score on only eight carries, helping propel Pilot Point past Whitesboro by a score of 45-20. That new high-mark topped his previous career-best: 71 rushing yards, set last Thursday.

Looking ahead, Newman and Pilot Point will face off against Life Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
