Basketball Recap: Calhoun Comes Up Short

Calhoun and Pickens squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Calhoun had to settle for second. The match between them and the Pickens Dragons didn't end well, with the Calhoun Yellow Jackets falling 74-55. The Yellow Jackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Pickens, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-2 record this season.

Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pickens, they will take on Jenkins on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jenkins comes in on seven and Pickens on 12.
