Softball Game Preview: Sacramento Dragons vs. Rodriguez Mustangs

The Sacramento Dragons will face off against the Rodriguez Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sacramento came up short against Woodland on Monday, falling 24-5. The Dragons have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez lost 14-2 to Vanden on Wednesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Mustangs, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Rodriguez saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Morrison, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Morrison's first of the season.

Sacramento's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-2. As for Rodriguez, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
