After only 15 points in their last match, Phoenix Christian made sure to put some points up on the board against Heritage Academy on Wednesday. The Phoenix Christian Cougars were the clear victor by a 60-40 margin over the Heritage Academy Heroes. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted since February 5th.

Heritage Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danye Sypho, who posted 15 points. Sypho's evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Barraza, who put up seven points and eight rebounds.

Phoenix Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Heritage Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Phoenix Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-32 defeat against Arizona Lutheran Academy on the 14th. As for Heritage Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 87-71 win against ALA - West Foothills on the 13th.
