Baseball Game Preview: Eldorado Eagles vs. Vienna Eagles

Eldorado is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Vienna a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. Eldorado will be playing in front of their home fans against Vienna at 3:30 p.m. Eldorado has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eldorado came up short against Goreville on Tuesday, falling 11-1.

Eldorado saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cale Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Anderson has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Vienna had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Massac County 4-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 16th.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Vienna, their win bumped their record up to 14-17.
