Softball Preview: Mountain View Prep Stars vs. Union County Yellowjackets
For the first time this season, Mountain View Prep will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Friday. They will head out to take on the Union County Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m.
Mountain View Prep is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Wren on Thursday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes.

Zoe Sullivan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one triple, and one RBI. The victory continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.
Union County now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mountain View Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
