Basketball Game Preview: Homefires Flames vs. Mishawaka HomeSchool W Wildcats

The Homefires Flames will take on the Mishawaka HomeSchool W Wildcats at 11:10 a.m. on Friday. Homefires is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Two weeks ago, Homefires ended up a good deal behind Living Water Homeschool and lost 65-47.

Meanwhile, Mishawaka HomeSchool W lost to Upper Cumberland on the road by a 61-47 margin on Thursday.

Homefires will need to focus on slowing down Oliver CANNON, one of several Mishawaka HomeSchool W players who made an impact when they last played. He almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave CANNON a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of HUDSON BARTH, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points.

Even though they lost, Mishawaka HomeSchool W smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Homefires' record is now 7-11. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, their record now sits at 9-23.
