Soccer Recap: Chillicothe Takes a Loss

Chillicothe came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-2 to the Savannah Savages. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Chillicothe now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Savannah, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chillicothe and Savannah will both be playing Lafayette the next time they take the pitch. The Hornets will head out to face the Fighting Irish at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Savages will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
