St. Mary Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. 2025 welcomed they with a 58-38 loss courtesy of the St. Paul Flyers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 37-35 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Mary Central Catholic's record now sits at 0-10. As for St. Paul, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary Central Catholic will square off against Lakota at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Paul, they will challenge Vermilion at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
