Volleyball Recap: Morro Bay Takes a Loss

Morro Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Immanuel Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Morro Bay's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Immanuel, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Morro Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Pioneer Valley on the 8th. As for Immanuel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Justin Garza on the 8th.
